Cheryl Harris is a Speaker and Advocate driven by a passion to protect those who serve and protect us: our military men and women. Since becoming a Gold Star Mother in 2008, she has tirelessly worked to engage Senators, Congressmen, Generals and Admirals to improve the living conditions for our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Cheryl has a unique ability to use her personal story to engage and inspire others to action. Her experiences as the proud mother of three U.S. Army Veterans, who deployed seven times to Iraq, provide her with a unique insight into the needs and challenges of active troops, veterans, and their families.
Cheryl is also a seasoned Sales and Marketing professional with over twenty years’ experience in the communications industry. She currently works as a Realtor in Pennsylvania and Florida.
Cheryl was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and currently lives in Venice, Florida. She is the proud grandmother to three beautiful granddaughters. Cheryl enjoys relaxing evenings with close friends and family. She is very active in her church and her faith in God informs everything she does.
